I love this very easy, quick and delicious recipe for ‘Chocolate Truffles’.
In fact, they’re so easy even children (with some supervision 😉 can do it themselves..
PLUS: they don’t contain any sugar – using raw honey – and they look quite ‘professional’ if you make a batch and take them to friends & family..Vary the toppings with various fruit, nuts, seeds, etc.
Ingredients:
5 Tbsp Cacao powder
2 Tbsp coconut oil
Raw honey to sweeten
1 small pinch of salt
fruit/nuts/seeds to garnish
Method:
Melt the cacao powder and coconut oil together, stirring constantly
Add the honey and salt to taste
Lightly dry toast the chopped nuts/seeds
Lay out thinly on a greaseproof paper on a tray/plate
Sprinkle your toppings
Put the lot in the freezer for 10 minutes, until the chocolate has hardened
Cut up into chunks and keep in the fridge in an airtight container
Keeps for a week (if they last that long!)
