Children's Nutrition

Take charge of your children's health

My first-hand experience as a Mum of two very active boys is invaluable to the parents I see in my practice

Being a working Mum, I also understand the pressures on budget and time that apply to looking after a family, and take that into account when I advise parents on the best nutrition for them and their children.

I can give you handy tips and help you to organise yourself to make sure your family's health and well-being improve through a diet of freshly cooked, tasty but simple meals.

I am also well aware of the fact that some children are fussy or sometimes unable to eat certain foods, due to intolerances and allergies. I will take these into account and advise you on the best way to prevent deficiencies and to make sure your child does not miss out on the enjoyment of eating tasty foods.

Pre-conceptual care , pregnancy, breastfeeding, then weaning and the early years of a child to me are the important stages in your child's nutrition and these will often determine how they view food throughout their life. However I also know that it is never too late to teach your children to enjoy proper, healthy and tasty food.

If you think you can't cook, I can advise and demonstrate to you how you can easily put together a healthy, nutritious and tasty meal and you will soon start enjoying cooking these meals!

My work in schools

Being passionate about teaching children the basic facts about food and how it impacts their health, I do volunteer work at West Hove Junior and Infant Schools, in East Sussex.

I provide the schools with handy weekly/monthly newsletter tips and also give short assembly talks on specific topics to the children. Parents can also ask their questions during 'Parents' Nutrition Talks'.

Contact me on 07980 62001 if you would like me to do offer these talks and tips to your local school.
